Meet Mr. Melvin Johnson, the dedicated chairman overseeing our vibrant garden. The bountiful vegetables harvested from this garden play a crucial role in supporting the Friday REAL Meals initiative.
A heartfelt thank you to our generous contributors: Butler Ware Pit for their donation of two loads of sifted topsoil, Jason Rollins for the diligent hauling, and the Salleys for covering the associated costs. Marvins is also stepping in with valuable resources for the garden. Mepkin Abbey made a couple of generous donations of vegetables. You can connect with them on Facebook or visit MepkinAbbey.org.
As you engage with these incredible supporters, please express our deep appreciation for their invaluable contributions.
We would like to have a protective fence around the garden. If you have the means to assist, kindly reach out to us at admin@cordesvillesc.org or give us a call at 843-761-4710. Your support is crucial in helping us continue our mission.
**Don't tell the garden, but we had this soil tested and we were told nothing would grow here. God said otherwise. **
